Anna Meloto-Wilk, co-founder of Philippine beauty brand Human Nature, was named Beauty Industry Woman of the Year by Cosmetics Design, a London-based beauty industry publication.

Human Nature: a beauty brand with heart

Anna Meloto-Wilk and Camille Meloto created Human Nature in 2008. They wanted to create a beauty brand that affordable, natural, eco-friendly and ethically-made. All of Human Nature products are made from local ingredients. Today, many of their products are cult favorites, such as their multi-purpose sunflower oil, 100% natural lip balms and hydrating lipsticks, and gentle but effective shampoos and conditioners. Many Filipinos gush about the quality they get for their price. “They’re just like the imported brands I used before, but are less than P100! I love them!”

Last year, the local beauty brand also took home the Sustainability Pioneer Award for its social entrepreneurship in Asia.
