During the launch of Sybella Salon in BSA Mansion (Makati), we asked SCI Permanent Makeup Master Trainer Ilias Sardellis a few questions about the company’s plans and offerings in the Philippines.

Can you tell us more about the Swiss Color® International (SCI)and your operations in the Philippines?
SCI started in 2005 in Switzerland and has seen huge expansion over the years since then, with more than 50 International Trainers and Academies all over the world. SCI credits the success to the company’s consistency and passion for the safety of its clients and offering the highest level of services.
We are confident to replicate the same success and recognition in the Philippines as our representatives in Sybella Salon are working with the most experienced International Master Trainers. In the Philippines, our services and products are offered through Sybella Salon located in Makati and Ayala Mall Marikina.
Part of the plans is to upgrade the level of microblading and micropigmentation in the Philippines for the years to come. SCI wants to introduce the safety techniques in permanent makeup through its various products, including high-quality pigments and devices that conform to European standards.
Among the highlight services in the new Sybella branch are the Nano Brows and Lips, which use the advanced technology of Swiss Color products and devices, with applied techniques invented by Ilias Sardellis. Additionally, in 2020, Sybella Salon plans to introduce to the market some various beauty products from Magic Lashes.
What’s your target for micro-blading or permanent makeup?
Nowadays, both men and women recognize the need to take care of their appearances as well as to improve some genetic weaknesses. Our clients prefer permanent makeup to cover scars, birthmarks, scalp pigmentation, and scars from breast reconstruction due to chemotherapy, or scars from major medical procedures.
What are the benefits of permanent makeup/microblading?
The permanent makeup we offer is important to our clients not only for the physical appearance but also for psychological reasons. Moreover, our services go beyond creating natural-looking eyebrows or perfect lips. We offer long-lasting beauty, which is really our mission.
What makes your beauty solutions bestselling?
I would say that the high quality of the pigments that we use in our services can ensure that the implanted color will not change and will not cause damage to the body. Also, the technology of our devices and needles follow the European standard for safety. Last but not least, our unique liquid removal can do miracles in correcting or removing old unwanted permanent makeup.
Last question: What are the beauty trends within your segment that you think would be popular in the Philippines in 2020?
Hair revitalizers that give perfect results in regenerating the scalp will be big this year as well as scar removal and the highest standard in permanent makeup.
