The good news though is that PETA has a developing list of about 4,300 beauty brands that are going and have gone cruelty-free. You can search for them right here.

Locally on beauty, indie brands in the PH are popping up and we’re seeing more and more options for cruelty-free skincare. Now, you can protect your skin sans the guilt. We’ve listed down four of our favorite cruelty-free skincare brands below as a guide when you decide to make the switch:
