BLUE WATER DAY SPA’S NEW CAMPAIGN ENTITLED‘LIFESTYLE REDEFINED’ invites everyone to discover the key to wholeness of the mind, body, and spirit that makes the most of one’s lifestyle.

Nancy Go, Operations Manager of Blue Water Day Spa, acknowledges that many people associate the word ‘lifestyle’ with luxury or having wealth. “Through this campaign, we are changing its definition to encompass a broader idea. Lifestyle is about the choices you make every single day of your life,” she explained during the recent campaign launch at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas. “As the country’s premier hub of wellness, we would like to inspire our consumers to lead a healthy, positive, and productive lifestyle.”

These days, our fast-paced lives can generate a lot of stress. Thus, people no longer see going to the spa as a luxury but, rather, a necessity to stay healthy as well as feel and look good. After all, we need to find relaxation, de-stress, and rejuvenate our tired bodies so we can lead longer and more productive lives.

During the Lifestyle Redefined Launch, Blue Water Day Spa introduced its new celebrity endorsers Aljur Abrenica, Ian Batherson, Mikaela Lagdameo- Martinez, Fabio Ide, Kim Suiza, and the Semerad twins, Anthony and David. All of them, including long-time endorser Iya Villania, lead active lives by taking care of themselves through their respective fitness routines, choosing healthier options, and getting spa treatments that compliment their lifestyles.

Iya Villania, who loves anything that involves pampering and relaxation, recognized that it “is important for celebrities like us to take care of ourselves since people will see it when you’re stressed because it will show in your skin.”

Likewise, hunks Aljur and Ian enjoy going to the spa to avail of soothing massages and pampering treatments. They said they also appreciate the opportunity to bond with friends at Blue Water’s Spa Theater, the first and only spa theater in the Philippines.

Mikaela shared that she is a fan of the Revita Firm and Revita Shape treatments at Blue Water. “Using the technology of heat, it is a non-invasive approach to tighten the skin and lift it at the same time,” she explained, adding that these help her maintain a supermodel glow despite being a mom of two and having a busy career.

Here are Blue Water Day Spa’s two latest massages that you may want to try out soon:

1. EMANS MASSAGE

a one-hour slow and gentle massage that uses joint mobilization principles to achieve a therapeutic effect and release trapped energies on all joints of the body.

Joint mobilization is skilled passive movement of the articular surfaces performed by a physical therapist to decrease pain or increase joint mobility. Osteopaths, chiropractors, and occupational therapists also commonly use this technique.

Emans massage is best for sufferers of joint pain and joint stiffness. It is contraindicated, though, for those with fracture and ligament fracture, herniated disk with nerve compression, joint effusion, joint replacement, hypermobile joints, and patients who are unable to relax.

This massage can be given to old and young people to improve mobility and flexibility of the body. It is recommended for active persons to prevent or relieve injuries.

2. BRAZILIAN HAND AND FOOT MASSAGE

Feels like having acupuncture without the needles. This relaxing special massage for the hands and feet prevents the growth of varicose veins through gliding and aid of crystals. It can lift the body, regenerate skin, and improve skin complexion.

This interesting holistic approach to healing provides 60 minutes of drug-free therapy that brings a state of calmness and tranquility to stressed and hyperactive individuals. The Brazilian hand and foot massage allows the body to heal and repair, providing immediate health benefits such as pain relief from hyperirritable nodules, improved finger and wrist range of motion, enhanced circulation, and reduction of trigger points in hand muscle pain and dysfunction.

It also involves a crystal healing massage on the legs with sequential timed holding pattern on the toes for balancing the organs in the body.

You’ll love the benefits of this massage: the Brazilian hand and foot massage promotes deep relaxation, activates the release of toxins, helps reduce emotional stress and imbalances, helps reduce overall physical pain and achiness, and reduces side effects of chemotherapy and radiation (including restless leg syndrome, insomnia, nausea, and edema).

This massage is recommended for people who repetitively use their hands and feet to perform various tasks.
