Over 200 international and local beauty brands participated in the Philbeauty tradeshow held at the SMX Convention Centre on May 31 to June 2, 2017.
Philbeauty is the largest and well-established international beauty trade show in the Philippines.
Organized by UBM Asia, it brings together the very best in beauty and wellness products: makeup, skincare, cosmetics, nail care, bath, body and oral hygiene. It also features packaging, ingredients, machinery and accessories.
Philbeauty provides a platform for companies and leading brands to showcase their innovations and expertise in the beauty industry.
“With a more educated and health conscious consumers who are aware of the latest trends, all major brands globally are currently innovating their products and treatments, from their formula and production to packaging and so on,” said Mr M Gandhi, President, UBM Philippines, Inc. “In fact, in recent years Asian beauty standards are now influencing the Western market.”
The event attracts over 6,000 visitors every year. This includes wholesalers, distributors, agents andretailers of beauty and related products, owners of beauty salons, stylists and make-up artists, therapists, dermatologists, pharmacists and aesthetic doctors. There are also quite a number of business managers from research or purchasing departments.
The trade event included activities like seminars and product demo areas and business networking opportunities. In fact, Beauty Insider Philippines gave a talk on Digital Marketing for Beauty Brands, which included the latest social media strategies and how to optimize a website.
