My 2020 New Year’s resolution is to wear less makeup. Now, this is a big deal for me especially because I’m such a makeup junkie (I had to Marie Kondo my collection twice last year!) but I decided on this because this year, drum roll please, I’m turning 25. I decided it was about time I focus on caring for my skin and letting my skin breathe. Because of that, I wanted to look for hardworking products that promise multitasking features in skin-caring formulas—enter blk cosmetics’ All- Over Paint.
Launched April 2019 last year, the All-Over Paints were part of the brand’s K-Beauty: K-Drama collection. It features a liquid blush-esque format reminiscent of their Creamy Cheek Paints, but in a more opaque matte formula that promises soft diffused or buildable pigment on the eyelids, cheeks, and lips. The goal was to look like my fave K-Drama star: Song Hye-Kyo.
The All-Over Paints come in two shades—Daffodil, a beautiful dusty pink with just the right amount of brown, and Peony, a poppy pink that looks so fresh on the skin. The product comes in a big doe foot applicator that carries just the right amount of product, the only problem is the pigment of this product is extra powerful. One side note though, be careful in applying too much. One soft dot is honestly enough for a diffused look on cheeks.
In terms of application, I think the best way to apply is using the fingers after patting on one dot. I like patting it on in swift motions to create the soft diffused look. In terms of longevity on my oily skin, it stays on about a good 6 hours but leaves a faint shade on cheeks after.
I think the best thing about this product is the actual convenience of its multitasking formula—I love that I can apply it easily on the eyelids, cheeks, and lips in one dot! This is perfect for girls on the go or even for creating that monotone K-Beauty look!
